and explore the beauty of the most remote region of Cyprus.
The journey begins at the picturesque harbor of Kato Pyrgos, right by the azure sea of the area.
After crossing the main road of the community, you will soon ascend towards the lush pine forest of the region.
The view from the very first peaks is breathtaking, combining the greenery of the mountains with the blue of the sea.
Despite some challenging uphill stretches, the frequent downhill sections make the cycling experience more enjoyable.
Continuing through the forest, you will climb towards the remote communities of Kampou and Tsakistra before reaching the road that will lead you to the Cross of Psokas and from there to Pyrgenaia, and back to Kato Pyrgos. Along the entire route, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the mountains and the sea in places where absolute tranquility prevails.
It’s very likely that you’ll encounter wildlife on your journey!
